The Pedagogy

At HCCA, Pedagogy is not just our profession, but our passion as well. We aspire excellence, and it is our very aspiration that galvanizes our faculty to go that extra mile in order to attain academic excellence, and moreover utilize it towards improving effectiveness and competitiveness in this industry at large.

HCCA provides new theoretical frameworks that reassesses, refines and occasionally redefines the current architectural practices and thinking. Our faculty helps us in creating a platform and shaping brilliant minds towards achieving excellence.

At HCCA we offer a five year Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture. During the course, the students are taught different aspects of spatial design, aesthetics, safety management, material management, history and humanities. We focus on the art of designing and constructing buildings and other physical structures which are functional, visually appealing and sustainable.

We are also firm believers that our Architectural Education cannot be limited within the four walls of the classroom, and, rather, needs to be experienced. Frequent workshops, site visits, talks by eminent professionals are held and the students are also taken for national and international educational study tours every odd semester to provide exposure.

Our initiative is to create a holistic Architectural experience, rather than just teaching in studios and classrooms.

The candidates shall be eligible for registration under the Architects Act, 1972 only after successful completion of both the stages.

The course should be completed within a period of 10 years since his/her first admission to B.Arch programme for the award of the degree.
